Gala Day at Fairfield

Cabra-Vale Diggers Fairfield Athletics are having an End of Season Gala Day on Sunday 14th March 2010 at Marketpeace Oval, Vine Street in Fairfield. Everyone welcome.

Entry fee: $10 for a maximum of 5 events. Closing date: 10th March. First call at 8:45 am.

Urgently Wanted!!

We are in desperate need of new (or old!) committee members.

Our little club has been running all season without a President!! Some members have more than one position on the committee and find it both tiring and time consuming.

Please consider becoming a committee member!!! We simply need your help.

You do not have to live in the Burgh to be on the committee. We are a friendly, easy going bunch and we meet once a month at the club, in addtion to helping with the running of the competitions nights.

Second-Hand Uniforms

Families may wish to donate to the club their childrens "old" uniforms that we can then sell as second-hand uniforms for a discounted price.

Talk to Michelle, our Uniform Manager, about this on Friday nights in the Canteen, if you are interested either ways (i.e. donating or purchasing).

Centre Training Sessions

Training by the club's coaches will be available again this season, to provide extra practice and allow preparation for various championships.

Any little athlete U8 or older can participate. You only need to show up at the training session at Rex Jackson oval!

Training with Dave is scheduled for Mondays 5 pm for Track events and 6:15 pm for Field events.   Other training may be available, contact Dave  (4294 1345).
