Helensburgh Little A's has its own Little Champ!
KALE Temple is not exactly what you would call your average little athlete... For one thing he is 193 cm tall, and at just 14 years old, he has already achieved great athletics.
His latest achievements? He won another 2 medals at the CHS State Schools Athletic Carnival held at Sydney Olympic Park in September 2005.
He won the Silver medal in the Final of the 14 year Boys 400 metre sprint with a personal best time of 54.2 seconds.
He backed that up with a great 800 metre run winning a Silver medal in the Final with a time of 2 min 5.2 sec beating his previous best time by 1.4 second.
Kale has now qualified for the Australian All SCHOOLS National Athletics carnival to be held in Sydney in December 2005.

- NSW CHS State 14B 400 + 800 metres Silver medallist

- NSW South Coast Schools Athletics Age Champion in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005
- NSW Institute of Sport Emerging Athlete Program in 2005 and 2006.
