New Athletics Season!

Well the 2010/11 Little Athletics season is starting soon... Hope you are enjoying the last weeks of your favourite winter sports!

Registrations dates and times have been scheduled as follow at the Helensburgh Workers' Club:

• Saturday 21st August - 11am-3pm
• Saturday 4th September - 11am-3pm
• Wednesday 8th September - 6pm-8pm

Fees this season remain unchanged IF YOU REGISTER ONLINE by 19th August. Same as last season:

• $70 for Tots
• $80 for All other athletes

Obviously, we want to encourage families to register online, as this is simple and straightforward to do so, and saves all a lot of time!

After the 19th August and if not registering online, fees will be:

• $75 for Tots
• $85 for All other athletes

To register online: go to the Clubsonline Portal (click the link) and follow the prompts. In case of any problem with it, or if you can not remember your user name and password from last season, please contact Jo (our Registrar) or Sylvie (our Website Manager).

State Championship Results

Two of our athletes achieved some great results at the State Championship weekend in March!

• Sarah Walsh (U/12 Girls AWD) - Gold in 100m, Silver in long jump, Bronze in shot put.
• Kurt Picken (U/9 Boys) - Gold in high jump, 11th overall in 400m.
